Cette journ\u00e9e a \u00e9t\u00e9 lanc\u00e9e en 2016 par Americans for Medical Progress (AMP) aux \u00c9tats-Unis. Elle offre l\u2019occasion d\u2019informer et de sensibiliser le personnel de l\u2019entreprise sur la n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 et les avantages de la recherche animale pour le d\u00e9veloppement de nouveaux m\u00e9dicaments et de nouvelles th\u00e9rapies. Dans l\u2019entreprise membre d\u2019Interpharma, cette journ\u00e9e de sensibilisation sera c\u00e9l\u00e9br\u00e9e dans le monde entier durant la semaine du 21&nbsp;octobre avec de nombreuses pr\u00e9sentations mettant en lumi\u00e8re le d\u00e9veloppement de la recherche animale au cours des derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es et les perspectives d\u2019avenir dans ce domaine.
